Descriptions:
The LDD2021A is a driver module for LD with ns pulse width and high peak current. The driver module is designed to be ultra compact(30×20 mm2) and hence achieves a high power density. Its output peak current can be up to 40 A and the pulse width can be as narrow as 5 ns. The LD pads on this module can also be used to mount bulk EEL chips or VCSEL chips. The input supply voltage is 5 V and is transferred to 150 V high voltage to charge LD. The repetition rate of this module can be from single shot to 100 kHz. LDD2021A has a fairly good performance with several advantages and can be employed in many applications such as LiDAR, measurements, range findings etc.
